OFFICE CALENDAR SOLUTION-DESPERATELY NEEDED

Hello,

My office is in desperate need of facility calendar solution. These are some of the guidelines given to me for the calendar:

1. Cross platform compatible
2. Calendar able to be work with multiple users
3. Calendar able to have colorized categories for up to 15 categories (each individual MUST be able to see colors and have access to changing them).
4. Prefer the calendar to work through an outlook exchange server

We are a non-profit swim facility looking to organize our different rooms with colors so that we do not overbook!

Any help would be appreciated. The biggest problems are getting a cross-platform solution, and letting everyone see the colors. Also, since we are non-profit, the lower the cost of a system the better!

Google Calendar with multiple users (shared calendars) fits your description nicely. It's free and can be set up on iOS, Android, in Outlook, on the web (calendar.google.com), in iCal, etc.

Does this mean that multiple users can manipulate anything they want if given permissions, and the colors will be seen and manipulated by everyone?

yes as long as it's set up properly with permissions and the like users will be able to make global changes
