at the very least is something bad happens your comptuer won't turn on. but flashing your cmos (take the battery out for a few minutes) will fix that.

its possilbe that you could fry the ram. Be it from too much voltage, or just overheating.

i'm not sure if it could damage the mobo in any way.

you won't need to look at point 2 or 3 if you just take baby steps. small steps = less chance of damage.

nothing bad should happen with a 33mhz increase. Depends on the ram though, if it's some cheap ram it might not be stable, but try it out and see. I don't see how that could damage the ram, voltage is the same and that is not a huge increase in clock speed so it should be fine.
