Hi everyone. I' m trying to compare my "windows rating" to some of my friends rigs. My rig is using windows 7 rc, amd phenom ii 955 be at stock speeds, 4 gb of gskill 800mhz ddr2 ram, and this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128387&cm_re=gigabye_motherboard-_-13-128-387-_-Product motherboard. i got a 7.3 on cpu performance, but only a 6.4 on gaming graphics. my friends rig is using an intel dual core at 2.66 ghz, 2 gb of ram and an 8600 gt 256 megabyte card and his "gaming graphics" score was higher than mine(at 6.5). To me it seems like that score shouldn't even be close... my other friend's rig is using a phenom ii x3 and a 9800gt and 4gb of ram and scored a 7.0! my system should be beating both of these, but it's not. The phenom ii x4 is obviously faster than the x3, and the gtx 260 should definately be faster than the 9800gt. Any explanations? i'd be quite dissapointed if I could be getting better performance out of a 60 dollar 8600gt over my spanking new overclocked gtx 260...

Ignore Windows ratings. I don't think there is an actual backing to their scores.

yeah I beat their scores in a 3dmark06 test, so it doesn't make much sense that my gaming graphics scores should be any lower but hey...
