Ok i just went to oc my radeon 9250 when the ati tools said it couldnt cause of opengl i then deleted that and got rivatuner which had issues trying to oc it and then started artifacting and i couldnt get rid of it no matter what. I finally took the card out and put in a 5200 and that took for ever to get working cause it wouldnt reconize it. I finally got that and i went into a mod i oc it from 250 to 315 memory and 400 to 450 core which is ok and now im getting issues in a hl2 mod which could be the game. I found out my mom took my 5200 when i bought it while out of box and shoved it in box squeezed between cds cd cases and manuals for the pasts couple of weeks so idk whats wrong.

um, 5200, and 9250... Are you using PCI? If you are, thats your problem there. Overclocking a PCI card generally results in damage because the PCI slot can't provide enough power to the card.
