I got a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Its got a unibody, and I cant afford a full suspension lift. My buddy was telling me about something that I can buy and put on to get 2 inches or so on a unibody. Dont remember at all what he said though. Can somebody explain what these parts are to me, some links please, and how to install?

Not a full suspension lift. Called my friend and he said use just lift blocks for the back and a leveling kit on the front.

Probably he was talking about shackles for the rear and spring spacers for the front. You can get about 1 1/2 - 2" of lift that way. I don't recommend the blocks on the rear leaf springs as it makes a weak spot on already weak stock leafs.

Oh, and welcome to the world of Jeeps. Feel free to come over to jeeptalk.net even though about 99% of the members are in Florida.
