No sound After HARDware update help!.!.!

I updated my graphics and realtek hd hardware after my sound ceased to work please help me! much appreciated.ive checked the sound control panel ect.

Have you tried removing the new drivers by the roll back method? try system restore and go back a couple of days.

Hi there, i may have a solution;

1. Go to Start, Run
2. Type in "services.msc" without the quotations and hit "run"
3. In the "local services" subheading, scroll down to "Windows Audio" and double click it
4. Click on "Start" and after it has done so, hit "Apply" and exit the window.

Hopefully your sound is back again and working.

hi all, i also have a prob almost like u.
Mine is don't have an Audio driver/device.

The above link is unworkable for me. Any driver/device for me to download?
My computer is HP Compaq dx2000 MT.
