Let me get this straight. Musicians and their companies want to sue people that share MP3s online so piracy will stop and we buy their lousy CDs. Why would people buy a muscian's CD if they threatened to sue their fans?
They need to be paid but don't they get money from concerts, commercials, TV appearances, etc? Why can't the RIAA just create databases for stores so we can tell them what songs we want on our CDs? A basic file server with a MySQL server would do it.
