No output to monitor

Hey,

I am currently having a weird problem with my desktop where when I turn it on, nothing is outputted to the monitor (I don't see POST and everything else before Windows loads). And then possibly 30 minutes of leaving it on, my monitor starts displaying stuff. For all the time before, the monitor is flashing idle as if my computer wasn't on, not quite sure what is going on. Would anybody have suggestions on what I should take a look at first?

It's either your video card or your monitor. If you have another computer try plugging your monitor into that and see what happens. If it works fine with another computer than it's most likely your video card.
