No Blu-Ray Movies for Low-End PS3

Saw this in a Wired RSS feed I subscribe to (via SharpReader)... it was posted on the 1st of September at 12:30PM, I don't know if its old news that everyone knows or not, but here goes:

Hah, I knew Sony would pull something stupid with this. :rolleyes:

Personally, I could care less about the next-gen formats. They're expensive, glitchy and aren't practical enough to justify the ridiculous prices (Plextor's desktop Blu-Ray drive costs $999.99!). :mad: I think I'll stick with the trusty DVD. :D
