So, it would be a better Idea to get a credit card with that 7% interest instead of the newegg preferedd account.

When I bought my parts to build my newest rig I put it on the Preferred Account to get the 6 months interest free. Then I just paid it off before that 6 months was up.

You can't beat the 6 months interest free, then if you can't pay it off before the 6 months is up just transfer it to another credit card with a lower APR.
