Hello all,

just registered and thought I'd quickly introduce myself before starting to ask questions. I'm not completely ignorant when it comes to computers but am definitely not a tech-ist person (sorry!). Reason I'm here is because there are two questions on my mind that I can't seem to get answered, and liking the name "Techist" thought I'd ask you guys for help . Off to the boards now..
