I need to upgrade my video card which is currently a Nvidia GeforceFX 5700LE 256mb and Im thinking about getting a nVidia GeForce 6600 6600LE PCI E SLI, the only problem is I dont know if it will conflict with my motherboard or not (I know the basics on computers but theres so many models and i dont know what cant go to what). My current motherboard (discontinued /sigh ) is a X-Caliber PT800DBP ATX Socket 478 (specs:

* CPU Support: Intel, Socket 478, Pentium 4 Up To 3.20 GHz
* Bus Speed: 400/ 533/ 800MHZ
* Expansion Slots: 1-8X AGP, 5 PCI
* Max Memory: 3 DDR - 12 GB
* Chipset: VIA PT800
* IDE Controller: Supports ULTRA ATA 133, SATA
* Additional Features: ATX Formfactor, Supports 8X AGP, Supports DDR400 Max 12GB, Supports ATA133, Supports Serial ATA, Supports 6 Channel Audio, USB 2.0 Support, On-board LAN)

I know the current specs seem kinda week, I really dont know all that much about motherboards.

Will this mobo support that video card? I need a new card awfully bad to play BF2, the 5700 just cant handle it. Any help is appreciated!

Thank you....

would a Nvidia Geforce FX6600 256MB AGP 6600 256 Video Card V49 work?

I'm sorry for coming off so noob, like I said its been along time and I dont know what can do with what...

Okay noob question, now Im thinking about buying a new mobo but how do you tell if they accept pci cards? Thanks!
