New to foum and building my first

Hey there everyone... little background I ordered a Dell XPS 730 wit just about all the bells and whistles over 40 days ago.. Today i received my second delay in the last two weeks so I decided to cancel and build my own.. The overall concept IS fairly easy however compatability is everything.. I want a rig that has a good foundation for easy upgrading.. Here is what im buying.. Please any ideas or suggestion good or bad is greatly appreciated.

Will i need to purchase SATA cables? anything else that I will need to make this happen?

You know that now there's XPS 630...but anyways, those are relatively high end computer hardware specs. The mobo is suitable for further upgrades later on, but the most important thing is how much did u pay for all these options?
