New system for Gaming and Recording

It's built and runs like a dream. I had no issues at all with it.

I couldn't ask for a better machine for the price....at least not yet.

I would go with the ASUS P6T SE personally. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131386&cm_re=p6t-_-13-131-386-_-Product

The main attraction to the 500GB 7200.12 is the fact that it is single platter. The seagate 7200.12s are also among the fastest 7200 RPM drives out there, even the multi-platter ones.

The MSI R5770 Hawk will beat the GTX 260 core 216 pretty handily. With new drivers, there are also some pretty massive performance boosts over what it got upon first release.

The 5770 really is a GTX260 killer :D

Not really. The GTX 260 is last generation, and the 5770 is current. The 4870 was really the GTX 260 killer. Until the 4870 came out, the GTX 260 was hyped like crazy as being the best value card out there.

Well, for me it is. I was going to get a GTX275/260 until the 5770 came out. :D

I really wasn't a fan of last generations ATI cards. The Nvidia cards were very close to them, and had the CUDA/PhysX options to boot. Not to mention the ATi cards were ugly as sin XD
