according to what I have now, I decidedthat I would need to mak a new PC. a first 64-bit, a first DDR2, etc. Well, I thought a bit of the stuff I want and I decided to shre them with you, since I'm open to comments and suggestions. This time, I won't go blasting, but I definately need a new one, to make it Vista ready and yadah yadah. And, if I buy this new PC, I am giving my P4 to my mom, if she accepts. If not, it's going to the shelf...sinceI hate selling my stuff.

I finally decided that it's time for a decent machine for gaming and such. Also, I used Newegg for pricing, but mine will be a little more expensive.

Oh dear...I wentabove threshold! Whatever, it'll last longer. I'll just put my max at: 2221.80 :p

Anyways, what do you think? Suggestions and comments OPENED!!!

Looks like a great build. I'm afraid that you won't see that much of a performance boost with two 7600gts though, since they're so powerful just by themselves. Try sliing two 6 series cards, to see a greater performance boost.

No link for ram, do you have an idea what company your gonna go with? OCZ is the best, well atleast to me it is..

Thats a pretty nice build. Love that motherboard!

Do you really need 600GB space? What about just having 300GB, and then buying a watercooling kit or something..

yah... 600Gb.. lol thats a t much, what you plan on keeping in that comp? looks like a sweet build tho!! Nice processor. Oh and instead of SLI'ing two 7600GT's buy a 7900GTX 512 i think youl appreciate it more :)

See, it's nice to buy always the latest stuff, but I already went way over my budget. Oh, you mean of buying ONE 7900GTX? Meh, we'll see.

@PerfectSK: Weird...how can two 7600GT not be as much powerful as one? Really weird.

@joxley: Might as well. Windows Vista will eat 15GB right off the bat.

@Dev: I'm probably looking for some Kingston, Corsair or OCZ. Not quite sure yet.

Save your money - dont get 600GB space.

Maybe, if you really want, a 300GB and a 150GB? But a 300GB will do it fine!

Suppose it's your build at the end of the day..

Yeah, I'll think I'll go for 2x 160GB SATA-II. Saves me money. And, I think I'll SLI two 7800GT
