The motherboard doesn't support DDR3 1600. I would spend less on the RAM and get DDR3 1333.

That ram is already one of the least expensive 2x2GB DDR3 sets, plus it has great timings and handles overclocking well. I own it, and it is indeed a fine set of ram, even for an AMD motherboard.

Someone told me technically no am3 boards "support" 1600, even if they say they do or do for 1600(OC). Anyways you can still change the settings on the motherboard in bios.
