New Futurama in 2008

comedy central has ordered 13 new episodes of futurama to be made and aird in 2008. i seen this on G4 somewhere and googled it today to make sure.

I am also excited about new futurama episodes, It was a very well done show and was only cancelled because it cost too much to make. I was hoping that when the DVDs went on sale it would have gone the way of Family Guy and and made enough money to have new epsidoes made but it never happened. Now it looks as if I'll finally get to see some new episodes.

psh only 13 more episodes? that's only half a season and leads me to believe that comedy central does not have faith in futurama

this comeback leads me to believe one of two things. Either futurama can infact make a successful comeback muchlike family guy and maintain the same comic relief...OR what I think however hope is not true. Matt Groening has finally given up on the sinking pile of crap that was once known as the simpsons and is instead trying to cash in on the momentum that futurama has been able to generate for so many years
