Well the massive pricecuts on amd's am2 platform to take place on july 24th, ive been inspired to create a new build.

MOBO:

Processor:

*Price cuts have this processor going down to around $310 after July 24th*

Heatsink:

GFX Card:

Memory:

Powersupply:

Power Suppy Extension Cables:

*I know that these are to split a cable to allow you to hook up more devices, but if i leave one of the split ends not hooked up to anything it wont matter right? Cause i want to use these as a simple extension for my powersupply cables because the case is big and im not sure if the wires of my powersupply will reach everything.*

Harddrive:

Extra usb ports :-D:

Im posting for two reasons, one to show off my next build, and two to make sure i havent overlooked any compatibility issues. As far as a hdd goes im going to use my old IDE harddrive.

Shouldnt need Exstentions, and if your not going to OC it and I realy wouldnt see why you would cause its a screaming computer anyways. I would just keep regular Heatsink, and not buy the exstentions. The only worries is the Power supply being on the bottom of the case and haveing to Reach all the way to the power connecter on the side of the mobo, but it might actualy just reach. I would take a look into that. But from what I see looks great. Might actualy want to get a bigger PSU but that one I think would put out ample amount of power.

I realy would recomend getting a faster HDD as well and sata it up cause it realy boosts performace.

I definitly did consider a bigger power supply, this is only my second build and is much more of a power consumer then my current one. I've switched the power supply to one that can more easily handle the load of all my parts. I've been debating the heatsink, because a cool cpu is a happy cpu, and will probably prolong the life of it. And i want this computer to last at least 4 years.

Also took your advice on getting a new harddrive, ill post the link to it in a lil while.
