personally i'd get the OCZ ModStream OCZ52012U ATX 520W Power Supply instead, (or the 600w if you have the bling :p )
and G.SKILL 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 550 (PC 4400) Samsung TCCD Dual Channel Kit System Memory (best ram, just 1 gig is better than 2gig in everything but heavy duty 3d modeling)

an fx55 with cl2.5 ram?? Is this your first build?

No, one ultra generally preforms worse than one GT. It's a total waste of money.

WOAH!! You actually got the money for that? FX sucks in multimedia and rocks in games. You only need one video card, games don't really need that much power. That PSU may look cool, but it kind of sucks. Get an Antec, or an OCZ. Thermaltake are also very good.

??? FX doesn't suck in multimedia.....

anyways, if you're going to overclock, i suggest you get 2 sticks of 512mb, because the more ram you have the worse you'll overclock

IMO, 2x512mb=1gig is enough

you'll need a better power supply, the one that you're getting is crap

seeing you have the money, i'll suggest the OCZ powerstream 600W (around $215 on newegg)

no they're not. FX55 is in like top 10 CPUs in everything on tomshardware cpu comparer even if it gets kicked by the way more expensive intels in a few (multi)media/tasking situations

thanks guys for replying... so you would suggest a different ram.. im building a dream machine lol and have the money for it so i want to go all out.....

changes are from what you guys said

ocz powerstream 600w psu... i like that
and g. skill dual channel kit
just get 1 6800gt

is everything else alright

You might want to wait until the new graphics cards come out. It is totally up to you though. However, if you do, you may be able to get either a better one for the same price, or get your 6800GT cheaper. Your choice though.

i think you should get this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231008

probably one of the best OCing rams

they will perform the same as $90 ram (1 gig), but they overclock crazy (you gotta learn how to first though, i suggest you check out xtremesystems and dfi-street)

this will be much quieter and cool much better than stock HSF and will help you when you OC:

and a tube of this
