Yeah it works, ya board supports faster RAM, so might be worth getting it

and i would go for this Hard drive its $5 more

thanks for the input. the reason i picked that memory is because newegg had a combo with windows xp with a free vista upgrade coupon.

how much difference in performance would i see?

i'd get a different hdd, 7200.1 rpms perpendicular recording
maybe a different psu.. a more reliable company like.. fsp group ocz enermax..
otherwise looks pretty good.

i looked at the bigger brand PSUs, and they are pretty pricy.. it's either a better psu or a monitor right now... maybe i'll save a little more
