GUYS! THIS IS WHAT I PULLED TOGETHER (from my supah-cool dad who has "old" ;) 2005 models):

2 DVD Optical Drives - Philips - Looks like this - $45
250 GB Samsung HDD (exact model!) - $39
160 GB Seagate Barracuda HDD (exact model!!) - I don't know why it says it's so much!
Antec Neopower 550 Watt - ~$100?!
Radeon X1950 Pro - $150 what the crap?
Are these good?! Do I have enough power?
Radeon X1900 - $150 what the double crap?!
The only cables I have are 2 wide, super thin cables, and 4 thin, narrow cables... what's for what?? Thanks!!! You guys rock :)

Mmm...smarties...
Most if not all new games are built to use CrossFire/SLI, but older ones may not scale well using it, if at all, which I guess isn't as much of a problem now; but when they first came into play, people were not getting their moneys worth

Actually its less than you would think.

Generally the games that truly need multi-GPU will support it, while the ones with less intense graphics won't.

2 video cards working together to render the same image.

It works quite well actually. I'm running it on my video card. (it has dual GPUs.)

OOoooh. I don't need anything special for that, do I? And do I need drivers for this stuff?! Can I find them online?

Are the cards even worth bringing home with me or should I just through them out? Will they be better than an integrated Radeon 4200?
