My buddy needs a video camera.. We both have Sony HI8 vid cam-corders, but the batteries won't hold a charge and it's a hassle to get the vids on the computer..
Anyway.. I was looking at the JVC Eviro camcorders on Newegg.com and I'm unsure about how good they are, The only thing I've heard is that JVC is supposed to have good customer support.
We also need it to have a decent zoom for the drag strip this spring. 20x zoom? 40x??
He's looking to spend about $300-$400.
