alrght...need some help setting up a ICS through my computer(dual ethernet prots) and an older computer with a ethernet port....i am quite lost...

What setup are you using? Does your Internet connect straight to your computer or is it something else? You should be able to go to your network connections, select "Set up home or small office network" and the wizard should take you through the steps.

I have a Win 2k Adv Server running two NICs (one on the MoBo, the second in a PCI slot. One connects to the internet through a Linksys router, the other connects only to my LAN. Both NICs use different addressing protocols.

Setting this up is very tricky. Unless you have a very good reason to use both NICs, keep life simple and only use one.

i gave up...i got like halfway through the wizard..and i was lost...then i lost my internet..so i deleted my one connection and everything is ok.....i am just going to go buy a router.. i guess....
