i have an integrated dell wierles card and the ping on my computer is so high some times and same with my xbox i was wondering how i could beef up my internet i have a linkses n router

You would need to get a better internet package from your service provider. A better router might help, but in the end the ISP has this control not you.

Post your results. As mak said the more likely cause is your ISP is crap.
