Need Help

i just put together my new computer, but when i hook the VGA adapter to my video card (6800ultra) then i plug my monitor into it my monitor goes on like stand by or something and nothing happens??

someone please help me out

hmm... looks like your monitor is not getting a signal.. make sure you installed your vid card properly and you connected the power in the back, and the vga adapter is secured... is the heatsink fan spinning?

Did you plug the power cord into the video card?

ya i did that still nothing the video card fan is spinning also
