Need help with a small custimization with a program (urgent)

Hi all.

I'm using a program called simpoll and I'm trying to make it so that each user must type in an email to be sent to a txt file when they vote in the poll (no verification).

This poll will be displayed for people at a public terminal at a car show from my site. I didn't realize that adding a forum to submit email would be so difficult. 2 people have failed in finishing the job and now I'm way past the deadline. If anyone know a little about this please PM me.
