We will need to know which Realtek audio chipset you have. Probably the best way to find out is to use CPUz to find out what manufacturer and model number of your motherboard. Download here - http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.55-setup-en.exe Then let us know and we can point you in the right direction.

Otherwise you can tell us what model computer you have. But sometimes there are multiple variations on a single model.

Edited to add: There are a lot of bogus or shady sites out there that offer services to scan your PC and install drivers. Please avoid them, they will only cause problems.

There are only two drivers that RealTek offers. HD Audio drivers and and driver for AC97 audio chips. Download both for your appropriate OS (and architecture (32 or 64)) and see which ones works ;)

There's a way to find out what chip you have, but honestly, since there are only two - It's easier to just install both. If your computer, I'd just go with HD audio first. 2004 and earlier is more likely to be AC97.

It can be just as easy to go to the PC's manufacturer's website and download the driver from there.
