Need Help Setting up a TV Tuner

I just got the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 from newegg. No clue how to set it up any help? I have a Dell Inspiron 531. I got it installed and computer recognizes it. Basically idk how to set it up with the cables to the TV. I have a Comcast Motorola cable box. About 3 feet from computer. So how do i set it up

what version of windows do you have? if you have vista ultimate you should just be able to plug it in and view shows through windows media center, if not you'll have to download a program to play shows/movies through your tv tuner... uh here are some options (you'll most likely have to pay for a program btw, i havent found a decent free one, although i think mythtv is free)--

alright, well download it and give it a shot..when your installing make sure you have your cable plugged into your TV tuner, and when it brings up the option for a TV tuner, select yes and then it should scan for an input image.

well what im wondering is if i have a comcast cable box am i screwing the cable cord into the comcast box to the tv tuner thats whta im confused about
