Hello everyone

I just assembled my new computer that i just bought. i read the manual placed everything where it should be, i tried booting with just ram CPU and GPU and ofc with the PSU it booted up fine with a Beep.

When i got everything placed in to the case it dosent want to start up anymore, not even the fan, but lights on the motherboard lights up.

Could it be the power suply? or the motherboard?

This is the parts i have.

Please help me!

When you setup your computer to boot the first time how did you do it ?
Put in your motherboard first, make sure the screw mounts are set up right and do not tighten it too much.
Next, put in your seagate, and 1 stick of ram, if your motherboard has onboard video, try that first and see it willl bootup.

It sounds like you have too many components in your computer to prevent it from booting.
If it post for you, add one piece of hardware at a time, the one that cuts it off, may need to be adjusted or left out until we can figure out whats wrong.

Mike, I don't get the bit on screwing too tight. But yeah, try removing different parts.

You don't understand by tightening down the motherboard too tight will prevent it from booting up ?
If you have some spare parts to build something up over the weeeknd, secure it down to tight the whole motherboard on each hole available and watch your rig not post up correctly or at all.
If you hear your motherboard begin to snap underneath or by the edges while installing it you'll understand what I mean.

Thats why I told him to put in the mount pegs with screws and just get it to where it won't jiggle much or flop around.

"Think of terms of shorting out the motherboard"

They're called stand-offs, Mike. I put the screws on tight sometimes and never had a problem with it. I just never experienced that being a factor in troubleshooting systems.
