Need help getting XP on Dell

Baseband Member
I have a Dell with a Pentium III 800Mhz processor, 128MB of ram, and a 10GB hard drive. The Question is "how do I Uninstall Win98 and Start a new install of WinXP ?''. I do not have the Win98 disk and the conputer won't start-up. A host of different problems with Win98 exist. The computer doesn't have anything on it that I want to keep so I really don't care if I start over. If anybody can provide me with some help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you get a copy of WinXP, all you have to do is boot from the cd and it will take you through the process of formatting your hard drive and installing WinXP.
Would you want to?

If you do, yeah, buy Windows XP and format the Computer. If you put the CD in, choose the order to boot from with CD being first and accept when it asks to boot from CD. Follow the instructions format the drives and it will work fine.
