ok so im trying to figure out which graphics card to get for me its a toss up between the ATI radeon 5670, an ATI 4850, and a 9800 GT.
4850: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150482
5670: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150467
9800 GT:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133304
DirectX 11 is not a factor in this i was thinking about it but there is only one game that uses it out and it cuts the 5670 performance in half, so now it just comes down to performance they are all the same price, give or take 5 bucks but the 9800 GT performs better than the 5670 and the 9800 GT has Physx but the 4850 is better than the 9800 GT at the same price and has no physx and i am currently running:
AMD athlon 2.8GHz dual core AM3 (upgrading to a phenom II sometime soon.
ASUS 880G micro ATX motherboard
2GB of DDR3 1333 corsair RAM (will be buying a second 2GB stick with the graphics card)
160 GB western digital SATA 3GB/S hard drive (upgrading to a 1 TB 6 GB sata drive)
575 Watt power supply (upgrading to a modular PSU not sure on watts)
LG DVD-RW drive all formats but blu-ray obviously
