I need ideas for a cheap gaming comp. My spending is from $400-$500. PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS! THE WHOLE SYSTEM
 
hahaha. good luck getting a whole system including a monitor for gaming. lol. are u sure u dont already have a monitor, either LCD or CRT?
 
It's gunna have to be an AMD Athlon 3000+
with like a 6800XT Videocard, and 80 GB HDD
and 1 gig fo some cheap ram, and i think you might be able to. Let me see if this works.

not so sure about that PSU, u dont wanna buy a computer only to have the PSU fail on u and every part in your computer dies. maybe a cheap antec psu, possibly a smartpower, yes it will increase price up to about $540, but it will be worth it.

the only thing u can get out of that computer is the hard drive which would save u about $70ish. and the operating system if u have one urself which would save another $100, THEN if u have a monitor, you should take this........

oh and u should keep ur optical drive so that would save another $35. so all that listed above is...$419, and is really good for that price.
 
Dude that videocard is ****, minus well get my build. A 6800XT owns that weak 6200le. If you want low quality grafix then just get a mobo wiht the onboard geforce 6100 videocard
