Hi all; new here. Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I desperately need a means of easily dumping email addresses into a distribution list or group, and I can't find the Windows-based client or app that permits that any more.
My typical issue: I'm a college professor, meaning I have new classrooms full of students every 4 months or so. The current Gmail norm requires you to add addresses to groups/labels one at a time by selecting addresses from your contact database or address book. Obviously, that's not practical for me. When a term starts, I have dozens of new students and a big list of their addresses.
At until late last year, Gmail it it easy. I could create a Group, click "add addresses," and simply cut-and-paste a bunch of addresses into a field. No longer.
In addition to Gmail, I've tried eM Client and Mailbird Lite. Help? Is there a solution, app, or strategy I'm missing?
