Holiday times are supposedly the best time for buying. I'm looking for a system that gets the job done. I have a max of 1500$ but i only want a computer that will get all my school work done and quench my thirst for high quality games. I want it to be able to play crysis on a high quality. I've gone through computer builds online many times and know a general idea of all the components. I'm hoping for a pretty big screen to put up a few pages up at the same time.

Wish List:

Big screen
full tower case
smooth graphics
decent speakers

i need all the compnents, the whole 9 yards

Don't need mouse an keyboard or OS
THANKS

Came up with a pretty good list

Thanks for feedback

its too much of a hassle to click on each individual link, imo :( i must be lazy today :/

you should think about getting a psu with more rails

your mobo had a LGA socket 1366 and your processor has LGA socket 1156 (you need to find another mobo or find another processor)

think about getting a GFX card with directX11 (for the new smooth shiney games)

your mobo has the ablity to use crossfireX(4 ati CrossfireX enabled GFX cards) or 3-way SLI (3 SLI 3-way enabled cards)

your heatsink will fit yout mobo but it is not ment for the processor you have chosen

your mobo has support for ram thats a little faster (1800 Mhz)

i think you should go with this monitor tho http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005122 (even tho it is slightly smaller it has higherresolution and you wont waste money on pc speakers you wont use also sense its a higher resolution and smaller screenthat means that the pixles are going to be smaller thus making games shineyer :D)

you case looks good

good luck ^_^

how much are you willing to spend on speakers? and what kind of setup are you looking for? (7.1 7.2 5.1) any preference in brand? how powerful do you want this thing to sound?

thanks for all the replies

I'm not a heavy gamer just have a desier to be proud of the graphics. a slight difference does not matter to me in resolution but i will need a big moniter for work (keeping two documents open at the same time)

i really know absolutely nothing about mobo's so i am going to have to try to learn

speaker quality not that important to me but i don't want any of that annoying speaker static

Got till MIDNIGHT for monitor!!!!!!!

I have the Hanns G version of the I INC 28, and its amazing. Best monitor Ive ever seen (except maybe apple's 30 inch)
BUY IT.

but do buy yourself some decent speakers, the internal ones are pretty bad....
