After 30 minutes, the InNova Infrared Thermometer found no temperature difference between the two Coke beverages. Both Coke were rising in temperature at the same rate. After one full hour, we found no temperature difference between the two Cokes. Further investigation was required.

I saw a guy make a home made one using a peltier.......so it actually did cool stuff down quite a bit lol, but pelts use a ridiculous amount of power so it really wasn't worth it

pssf.. because those are in the kitchen.... and the task of standing up, actually walking away from your computer, walking in a compleltly different room is unheard of at these forums.. DUH

those things dont work at all. how can a beverage be cooled from the BOTTOM??? heat rises, not cold. that's why hot plates/coffee warmers work great. this is a waste of money, lol

Thanks, but our local OfficeMax has mini fridges on for $19 this week. It holds more AND it's cheaper.
Yeah, but the mini-fridge doesn't fit in your laptop bag and go everywhere your laptop goes.

Yeah, since heat always goes down, and never obeys any other laws of thermodynamics, this is retarded. I mean, if you lay down on some ice, since you're above it, you won't get cold. And as long as you sit your beer on top of the ice in the ice-chest, it won't get cold. Their chilling plate is just stupid. Ha! They must actually think sitting a can on top of a chilling plate will do anything! Morons. :p
