When i used to work in Borders, i had to bite my tongue from telling people to go to tescos as it was cheaper 
A lot of the book shops have actually tried to get tescos to stop selling cheap books as they have such a big buying power and presence that the book shops cant compete. I tend to use the net a lot for buying music, amazon, ebay, play.com well not ebay unless its hard to find as they are expensive. Here where i live i have to use the net, no where near me does anything decent lol.
