My start toolbar and desktop are gone....

When i log into my screename(using windows 2k) my starttoolbar will show up than dissappear and nothign on my desktop will load, i just get a blue screen. Anyone knwo how i can fix this?

does your mouse work?
any error messages or that?

mouse works fine, no error messages. also when i try to get on aim, check my email or try and play my game(online) it says the connection was refused when atempting to connect to etc.

ye, that sorts out everything, do you have anything you need to keep on the HD
