No need for Raspbian. Retropie runs on Debian, Ubuntu and Mint as well. After all Raspbian is Debian focusing on the Raspberry Pi.
RetroArch is available for Arch anyways, which is basically the same. I'm just trying to determine what can run on my hardware. I had trouble with OpenGL but I may have found a way around it. We'll see.
Anyways I'm not that interested in gaming, but in getting it to work on Arch. I really dislike Debian and all the Debian-based distributions. After that I'll probably move on and leave the computer gathering dust in my wardrobe.
