Hi I want to build a somewhat future proof computer. I want a mobo that will be compatible with future CPUs like quad core, a good 2gig dual channel memory, and power supply that will be compatible with future GFX etc. You see I dont want a 680i mobo because I am not planning to use 2 video cards. Also, what is a good heatsink for my e6600? I may do some overclocking. Here is what I have in mind:

motherboard: Asus P5B Socket 775
memory: OCZ EL DDR2 PC2-5400 / 667MHz / Gold Gamer eXtreme
power supply: OCZ (OCZ600GXSSLI) GameXStream 600 Watt Power Supply
CPU:e6600
GPU:EVGA 8800gtx
Case: Thermaltake VA8003BWS Armor Super Tower

I would upgrade your ram to ddr2 800, and tuniq tower 120's are supposed to be the best I just ordered one i'll have to see how it works its supposed to be coming thursday and get some arctic silver 5. The P5B is nice I have one it has everything thats needed plenty of sata ports and some nice features

change powersupply to Silverstone ST56ZF, get a Thermalright Ultra 120, and get some PC2-6400.

The power supply you have mentioned has only 560W and costs $150 while the OCZ 600W costs $115

yes, i know that. Apparently you haven't read any reviews in choosing your parts. Only going with companies that you hear about  And just go by ratings. Well you will see a huge difference here. The ripple on the OCZ GameXStreams go out of spec.

Also, the Corsair HX620 is a good choice too, but i prefer Etatsis over Seasonic and those two definitely over FSP.

I will be getting the Thermaltake VA8000 Armor Super Tower Case

OK guys I made a slight change to my order. This is what I ordered:

Seasonic S12-600HT 600W ATX12V 20/24 Pin V2.0 Active PFC Power Supply Retail Box

Logitech X-540 5.1 Speaker System Black 70W RMS W/ FDD2 & Wired Remote

Thermaltake VA8000 Armor Super Tower Case Black 10X5.25 2X3.5 6X3.5INT W/ Window

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA2 3GB/S 7200RPM 16MB Cache Ncq Hard Drive

Thermalright ULTRA-120 Heatpipe Cooler LGA775 S939 S940 S754 Heatsink *Fan Not Included*

Also I have got P5B Deluxe. I am thinking of getting E4300 since it can overclock very well. I will probably go with 8800GTS since I am running out of money. Now my FINAL question is what is a bang for the buck 2GB memory? I want to overclock my PC but don't want to pay too much. Somebody recommended this:

http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=011979&cid=RAM.475

Should I buy a cheaper RAM and get 8800GTX or AWESOME ram and get 8800GTS
