My laptop screen is going bad

This defintely looks like the ones i have seen. I'm guessing you have a broken wire in the bunch. Does the screen clear up if you move hte monitor around at all?

It looks like as if it displays in 256 colors. Check in your screen resolution, although a broken wire could be the source. If you buy the screen without the wiring, you may still have the problem. Go here and check if they have your laptop model and you could buy the laptop screen wire to start. It's much cheaper!
