Just got back from the field shooting some rockets. They travel around mach 2 and travel anywhere 10-100 miles away. Forecast for the target. Rain, steel rain......

no I was not part of the selected few in my battery that got to go to whitesands proving ground to do so.

So that is what you do, I had asked before but got no reply. How far away was you target during the practice fires?

I didn't even know they had MLRS units at ft. Lewis

Our target was 10 miles away.

Fort Lewis only has 1 rocket artillery unit. 5-3FA. IT is all HIMARS.
