9. 2 120mm fans that he has

10. a dvd burning drive that he has

i think thats it he has a keyboard and monitor so i dont worry bout that just let me know what yall think so i can tell him

if he is going to be gaming then tell him to get a better GFX. its not even worth it buying the 8600GTS just for DX10. it wont be able to play any good DX10 games until the game designers master DX10

don't get the Antec SP. Its a crap powersupply. Instead go for the Antec Neo 550/500He. And as said above, go with a 8800GTS. If thats too expensive for him, get a x1950pro. And you don't need a raptor. Its not worth it.

The Raptors are one of the best drives aside from using SCSI and solid state hard drives. Cost wise, it's probably too high for anyone's taste, since you can find hard drives cheaper than $50. In fact, that's the only disadvantage of NOT buying that particular hard drive. But reviews clearly shows a performance difference for the better.

It didn't sound like it. I would always recommend those Raptors if it's within anyone's budget. Since he's already building a pretty good PC, a Raptor will be a nice addition. Especially if you plan on using RAID.

Yeah, I'd deffo get a 8800GTS in place of the 8600GT. Depends on the budget though..

he dont wanna spend 300 bucks on a graphics card he was more in range of 150 to pushing it at 200 but over 200 is out of his rtange
