Yeah, I was trying to put in my two cents but I didn't get them in before deletion.

Basically, I honestly believe that the guy deserved to be made into a piece of swiss cheese. It's too bad the police dog was shot also.

Now this isn't a racial thing so please don't go there. I would say the same thing if it was any other race. The point is, law enforcement gave him every opportunity to drop the object in his hand, "which he warned was a weapon." He threatened police and threatened to shoot and kill anyone. Forget the fact that this was "Compton, CA", crazy people shoot people everywhere and a threat like this needs to be taken seriously.

If you watch the video when the shooting begins, he stands back and brings the object forward as the dog approaches. Regardless if the object was a flip-flop, banana or a water pistol... Law enforcement reacted to a very tense and stressful stand-off.

If you're going to play with fire, you're going to get burned. I believe justice was served. It's really too bad for the dog.

First like three shots weren't even warranted and on top of that they MISSED, then the guy throws the gun away, gets attacked by a dog and ends up getting more shots fired at him. The end is the worst..."he's getting up"

All the shots were warranted that hit him, the shots that weren't warranted were the ones that hit the dog. And they should have pulled out a mini gun and blasted him for about another 20 minutes.
