msn remote

boot problem/msn remote

hi there..will i have 2 things that i need help with :
i was trying to change my boot screen using a program called bootxp
but after restar i would get ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt.
and it would give a choice to boot from back up or normal windows.
normalwindows wont work but back up works...
here is a copy of my boot.ini

also iam trying to help my sis with some pc issues , and iam trying to use msn remote, but everytime we try i will get something like

(The invitation from xxxxxx to start Remote Assistance was declined. The program is disabled or is not installed on your computer)

any idea how to fix this, i dont want her to install a remote tool becouse she wont know how it took me like half an hour trying to help find the action button in msn .....so msn would probly be the best way becouse she already found the request remote button..hahaha.....

tell her not to do the registry one just in case she messes it up! the control panel one should be fine.

will i already cheked for that ..we both have that cheked..still same thing...but thanks for the help

I cant help you with that first problem not sure if its related to it. Do you both have the latest version of msn? and do you both have firewalls that allow msn through?

try following these steps same as the last one but a little more indepth and diagrams. Also try using windows messenger instead of msn.

hey man thanks alot for the help...but that didnt work..but i learned a few new things....but iam trying to use vnc now to remote her..i hope i figuer out how to use it..lol
