MSI MS-6728 Mobo and SATA

Hi all

I have an MSI MS-6728 (Version 2) motherboard.

I bought a SATA HD, but the computer can't find it. There's also nowhere to add SATA devices in the bios.

I've downloaded the official SATA drivers for my motherboard, but I don't know what to do with them. There are various sys and inf files, but they don't seem to do anything.

Do you have the jumper settings correct? Also do you have the bios correctly set up for the SATA drive to be the "Primary Boot Device" and make sure you have the boot device priority set to the SATA

When i hooked mine up to mine... it had no problems... do check the jumpers for sure... also insure that youve hooked it into the "primary" SATA port it may be labled something like SATA 0 on the mobo.
