MSI GD55 - HDMI Output?

Hey all,

So I'm running the MSI-GD55 motherboard and on the back panel there is a HDMI port.

So I figured I would be able to output display to my television? I plug both ends in and I'm not getting any response. I click on my nVidia settings to see if I can enable multi-displays, but it's not picking up the HDMI on the motherboard.

I ran the MSi driver CD that came with the mobo and it doesn't have any HDMI driver option or installation. I can't even seem to find instruction on the web.

I'm definitely doing something wrong, maybe someone can shed some light on me?

To display your screen on your TV you will need to press the windows key + P or going to your control panel and under the hardware and sound menu will be "connect to a project" (either way you do it will still show the same menu) and a menu like this will appear
