msi-7184 mobo memory?

Daemon Poster
Ok, your mobo info:
* Four 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets
* Supports dual channel, eight memory banks DDR 333/400
* Supports 2.5v DDR SDRAM DIMMs
* Maximum HP/Compaq approved memory is 4 GB* without ECC

I'm not positive but hopefully that info will help someone who knows RAM better than me to figure out if itll work for you :)

No that motherboard won't support DDR2 RAM. DDR2 takes 1.8v of power, where regular DDR takes 2.5v. Therefore, the RAM will get an overcurrent, so you will probably burn up the RAM. Don't try to put DDR2 in that motherboard, for your RAM's sake.

Edit>>> Also the DDR2 ram is 240-pin, where DDR is 184-pin. Won't fit anyway.
