MPEG to DVD software

Does anybody know how I go about putting a DVD together from MPEG files???

Prefarably freeware!

You can try using Windows Movie Maker. Or buy software which will give you way more options. I have Sony's Movie Studio/DVD Software. But you want freeware. I have no idea about that.

I tried windows movie maker, but that only gives the option of saving to a recordable CD.

Nero. Use The option NeroVIsion, make your own movie and it should do it. But i must warn you converting to mpeg takes a long time so leave it on over night to do it.
