If you add in 4GB in there, the best it would do is load all the applications in the memory modules. A 64-bit CPU doesn't require 4GB RAM.
However, if you have the cash, you can get some memory sticks. 4x1GB, for a motherboard that has 4 RAM slots, or 2x2GB for a board that has 2 RAM slots.
