More net card questions...

Okay now, so i got the cross-over cable, and my two computers are now connected together It almost runs like it should

Now, a different question:
How can i connect the computer that's not connected to the cable modem to the internet, through the other computer, which is online?

And also: A quite strange thing - Normally, when i turn on the computer, a lamp on the modem will turn on indicating that the computer is on, but at the moment the lamp is also on when the computer is off And another lamp is blink like it's transferring stuff How can this be? The computer is off, but my net card is still on

Whew, ok here goes:

In order to have both computers online, you will need to use Internet Connection Sharing.

That should help.

The lights on the Network card will stay on and blinking, as the motherboard is still giving power to the Network Card so that it will tell the other devices on the Network that its still there, basically. So dont worry, its normal.
